Backhand Fishing in Table Tennis

July 11, 2014 by Rajeev Sharma

Backhand fishing is something between backhand loop and backhand drop. You are far away from the ping pong table and you are trying to force your opponent to miss quite an easy shot for him. You have to a make very deep bond on the end of the table until you have to use the spin what he is giving to you and trying to save yourself.

Use mostly the force of the ping pong ball. Give different amounts of sidespin to see if you can catch the opponent off-balance and force a weaker shot that lets you back into the point.
